Just right click an openthe DMG file with this utility. Method 2: There is a simple freeware app called DMG2ISOthat does the same thing in an easy way. So, try at your own risk, but i think that would work. moreover, transmac calls expanding as'converting to iso'.

I in fact used ultraiso to convert the dmg to iso (to expandit), but the resulting file is exactly the same size that ofcreated by transmac. So expand the file, and renameit to iso, and use another burner to burn the bastard!!!!!! :) TransMac seems to have problems with burning double layer DVDs.If you're not satisfied with that, or would like to use NEROinstead anyway, then I'm almost sure, that the expanded dmg file isin fact identical with an iso image. dmgfiles within Windows XP and burn to cd/dvd. You needn't convert dmg to iso file before burning. PowerISO can burn dmg file directly to a CD / DVD disc. With PowerISO, you can manipulate dmg files on Windows PC.

The DMG files normally contain program installation files for Apple system and applications, but they can also be used to hold compressed files. In the dialog that now opens, set the “Image Format” to “DVD/CD master” and click “Save“. Disk Utility – Right click mounted GMD image and choose Convert.

Right click the DMG Mount and select the “Convert” option. Open Disk Utility (Utilities Disk Utility).
